How to read the new labelling
The labelling consists of five digits indicating the date of manufacture:
• the first two digits represent the year of manufacture;
• the next three digits represent the day of the year (from 001 to 365).
For example: 26125
26 – the year 2026
125 – the 125th day of the year
What has changed?
From now on, the batch number corresponds to the date of manufacture of the product..
Why is this necessary?
The updated labelling format has been introduced to standardize the marking system in accordance with production requirements and for managing different sales markets.
This approach ensures:
• clear identification of the production date;
• a consistent approach to product labelling across all markets;
• ease of tracking product information.
Additional information:
The switch to the new format will happen gradually, so for a certain period, products with different labelling formats may be on the shelves at the same time.
